About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources and Recruitment professional who is passionate about building relationships and impacting business growth through exceptional people outcomes to join the People and Culture team on a 4 month (leave replacement) contract commencing mid/end March 2022. With plans to double our headcount to 500 employees by 2025, a key focus of the role will be internal recruitment and driving our DEI strategy.  

There is also an option for permanent ongoing employment where you would transition from the P&C team into an external Recruiter or Account Manager role. 

 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with business units to understand internal staffing needs, build an effective operational recruitment plan, and maintain activity across all recruitment mediums to ensure delivery to staffing needs Australia-wide

  • Effectively onboard new starters, with all equipment and documentation, and drive all administration supporting their early employee-lifecycle experience

  • Management and development of systems and processes across the business, using real time people analytics to enhance employee engagement 

  • Deliver to People and Culture process, including the development and maintenance of position descriptions, careers guides, organisation  structures, employee milestones and birthdays and the monthly global communications

  • Facilitate best practice outcomes with workplace incident procedures 

  • Drive our DEI strategy

  • Drive regular social events and fundraisers, maintaining an annual events calendar and sharing these efforts across the business

  • Contribution and delivery to people and culture projects, including employee growth, learning and development

  • Lead and model powerful behaviours and our BE GREAT values through your actions and story-telling across the organisation

 

Experience and Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2 years of internal/external recruitment experience 

  • Experience organising events for 100 plus people

  • Confident presenting and communicating with an audience of 100 plus people
