About your new role

Working in a talented team, you will be able to contribute your valuable ideas to our software and see first-hand the impact you have made on a product that is used by all our internal staff as well as 1,000's of educators daily. You will be working with the latest Microsoft technologies adding game changing features to our client and candidate portals. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team, be a passionate and forward thinking individual who can work with minimal direction and demonstrate outstanding communication skills. You should live and breathe technology and love showing how your work can positively help our staff, clients and candidates.

A day in the team would look like:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Vue JS, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

• Collaborate with the remote development team to ensure high-quality code and seamless integration of new features.

• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications while adhering to cybersecurity best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and secure development techniques.

• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in applications and processes, including through our fortnightly retrospective program.

Application Requirements 

• Team Leader experience 

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience 

• Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong background in Vue JS, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.

• Strong understanding of web application development best practices, design principles, and secure development techniques.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a remote team.

• A strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility for the success of features.

• A deep respect for cybersecurity best practices and the importance of securely managing sensitive personal information.
